The central text of rabbinic Judaism, built on the Mishnah and layered with centuries of argument and commentary on top of it, most of it actually written in Aramaic. People still study it daily. Daf Yomi, a page a day, gets you through the whole thing in about seven and a half years, and there are people on their third or fourth lap.
