Destined, meant to be. Most often used for a soulmate, your bashert, the person you were apparently always going to end up with, but people stretch it to cover a job, an apartment, a parking spot that opens up right when you need it. The word carries a shrug of fate underneath it, like the universe filed the paperwork before you showed up.
