Robert Kraft Just Benched Macklemore

Henry Ford's own house will finally say what he did. Fair Lane, the Dearborn mansion Henry and Clara Ford shared, reopens in June 2027 after 17 years of restoration and will now cover Ford's ownership of the Dearborn Independent, the antisemitic newspaper he ran starting in 1919. Catherine Cangany of the Jewish Historical Society of Michigan called it "long overdue." ¹

Germany's far right tripled its vote share in one state. The AfD took 15.9% of Monday's local elections in Lower Saxony, up from 4.6% five years ago, and became Salzgitter's largest council bloc. Mainstream parties still won't govern with them. The firewall held. ²

Netanyahu lands in New York September 23 for the UN General Assembly, and City Hall already sounds nervous. The visit falls during the High Holidays and 9/11's 25th anniversary. Mayor Mamdani, who once floated arresting him on sight, says he'll let New Yorkers protest as they choose. ³

Hero: Robert Kraft. The Patriots owner pushed Ed Sheeran to drop Macklemore from the tour after Macklemore turned his MetLife Stadium set into a Free Palestine protest, projecting war images and Palestinian flags while Jewish fans in the crowd left in tears. Kraft rallied other stadium owners behind an ultimatum, and tour promoter Messina Touring Group made it official Monday: no remaining venue will host him. Kraft called it protecting fans from "hate speech." ⁴

Villain: Macklemore. He had three years of touring to make his point once. MetLife Stadium got the same set again, deliberately, in front of paying fans who came for the music, some of whom cried. And then had the audacity to say that it wasn’t about them. Pink told him "you don't get to decide that for us." ⁵
