The FBI counted an antisemitic hate crime every six hours last year. Jews were the target in 1,528 hate crimes in 2025 — 63% of all religion-based hate crimes, though Jews are 2% of the population. That's a 21% drop from 2024, the third-highest on record. Three people were killed. 1
An Israeli soldier missing since 1982 is home. Sgt. First Class Yehuda Katz went missing at the Battle of Sultan Yacoub in Lebanon 44 years ago. Villain: The IDF's Duvdevan unit. Commandos raiding the West Bank village of Qabatiya on Monday wrote numbers on detained Palestinians, including a "44" on one man's forehead. It's the second such incident this year; the first was in April, at Jenin. MK Ahmad Tibi called it "shocking and disgusting," saying it recalled "dark times."
